Passport & VISA

Passport is a document which is used for personal identification during abroad travels. The significant difference between visa and passport is that Visa is an official permission which temporarily authorizes us to stay in a foreign country and the passport is a document that certifies our identity during our travels.

Types of passport


3 types of Indian Passport
  •      Ordinary Passport (Dark Blue) is issued to ordinary citizens for ordinary travel, such as for vacation, study and business trips (36 or 60 pages). It is a "Type P" passport, where P stands for Personal.
  •      Official Passport (White cover) is issued to individuals representing the Indian government on official business. It is a "Type S" passport, S stands for Service.
  •      Diplomatic Passport (Maroon cover) is issued to Indian diplomats, top ranking government officials and diplomatic couriers. It is a "Type D" passport with D stands for Diplomatic.

Difference between Connection-oriented and Connection-less Services Both  Connection-oriented service and Connection-less service  are used for the connection establishment between two or more than two devices. These type of services are offered by network layer. Connection-oriented service  is related to the telephone system. It includes the connection establishment and connection termination. In connection-oriented service, Handshake method is used to establish the connection between sender and receiver. Connection-less service  is related to the postal system.
